Prof. Malik Badri has passed away

Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un.

Prof. Malik Badri has passed away on February 8th, 2021. This is a really big loss for Muslim societies, especially for Islamic Psychology society, as he is the first one who reminded many of modern Muslim psychologists not to be trapped in Western psychology ‘lizard hole’. He is the founding father of Islamic Psychology and the first president of International Association of Muslim Psychologists. Most of his life was dedicated to contribute on Islamic Psychology works. His works are so precious and monumental for Muslim scholars. He also encouraged many Muslims all over the world to establish further works on Islamic Psychology.
